The Slovanka Chalet

 The Slovanka Chalet is situated on the border of the municipalities of Černý Důl and Pec pod .Sněžkou at an altitude of 1,120 m above sea level. In summer, Slovanka is accessible to motor vehicles and parking is possible at the car park directly next to the building. Thanks to its location, Slovanka is an ideal point of departure for hiking tours, hikes and mountain bike rides.

In winter, Slovanka is inaccessible to motor vehicles except for track vehicles; cars can be parked in Černý Důl or in Pec pod Sněžkou. Cross-country skiing lovers for whom maintained running tracks are prepared, as well as keen downhill skiers, will come into their own here. There is a ski lift 70 m from the chalet, connecting Slovanka with the skiing resort and other downhill tracks and ski lifts in Pec pod Sněžkou.

Recreation at the Slovanka Hut is suitable both for ski courses and families with children; off season, the chalet is used mainly by various groups of children for outwood bound schools and health programs. Our guests are accommodated in double rooms or four-bed rooms of tourist character.

The menu in Slovanka features, besides classic Czech meals, also specialities such as the traditional local sour soup with home-made rolls baked at the chalet. Other meals available and served here include meals and specialities of venison, poultry, sea fish or grilled trout. Meals at Slovanka can be arranged as half board or full board.

In summer time it is possible to sit around an outdoor fireplace and roast or grill a piglet, lamb or other types of meat.
